Old Testament Survey
Objective:
This course is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of Genesis through Malachi of the Old Testament. The course will familiarize students with the arrangement and content of the Old Testament.

Week 1 Introduction, Gen.
Week 2 Ex. Lev. Num. Deut.
Books of History
Week 3 Josh. Judges, Ruth, 1, &2 Sam.
Week 4 1&2 Kings, 1&2 Chron. Ez. Ne. Es.
Books of Wisdom
Week 5 Job. Ps. Prov. Ec. S of Psalms
Major Prophets
Week 6 Is. Jer. Lam. Ezekiel.
Minor Prophets
Week 7 Dan. Ho. Jo. Am. Ob. Jonah. Mi. Na.
Week 8 Ha. Zeph. Hag. Zech. Mal., Conclusion
Grades:
Students will be evaluated based on three criteria: 1. Class participation 2. In class presentation 3. Examination
Outcomes:
Upon completion of the curriculum students should be able to recite all 39 books of the Old Testament in order, be able identify books that fall in different sections of the Old Testament, and be able to communicate information relating to the Old Testament in its entirety.
