Systematic Apologetics
Objective: This course is designed to equip students to thoroughly and adequately defend the Christian world view.
Schedule: Pre-suppositional Apologetics
Week 1 Introduction, literal interpretation of the Gen. 1-3
Week 2 Genesis 6 flood
Week 3 Confusion and dispersion of humanity Gen 11
Week 4 Basis for the Gospel in a literal interpretation of Gen. 1-11
Philosophical Apologetics
Week 5 Introduction, rules of logic, absolute morality, AIP test
Week 6 Defending the authority, authenticity, and application of the Bible
Week 7 3 Part Test, 4 Questions, 5 Disciplines
Week 8 Debunking alternative theological/philosophical world views, Conclusion
Grades:
Students will be evaluated based on three criteria: 1. Class participation 2. In class presentation 3. Examination
Outcomes:
Upon completion of the curriculum students should be prepared to give an answer for the hope that is within Christianity. Students should be prepared to successfully debunk evolutionary theory while upholding creationism. Students should also be versed in systematic logic in discussing the Christian world view as well as alternative philosophies.
